elektroplatingIn metal plating a thin layer of metal is applied to other materials in an electrolytic liquid using electricity. Also nonmetals like plastics or leather can be metal plated. This is done by first applying a special lacquer that conducts the electricity.

ECONOMY

Electroplating Costs Calculation

Hard chrome: Normally 100µ is applied.

Cost in DKK = Part diameter · pi · part length · 3,5 · 4 pr. 100µ

Finish chrome: Parts are attached to a frame with dimensions 3 x 1,5 meters. Plating for one frame costs 200 DKK
